The upcoming Advanced Next-Gen Firewall-related feature set of EFG is equipped with advanced features designed to provide strong security and ensure high network availability.
Stateful, Application-Aware Firewall: The EFG comes with a stateful, application-aware firewall that allows for the implementation of robust security policies. It facilitates network segmentation, device isolation, and application filtering through streamlined configurations, including VLAN isolation, client isolation, and application blocking.
Maximum Network Availability: With multi-WAN load balancing, hot-swappable power supplies, and support for Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP), the EFG guarantees maximum uptime and network availability. Additionally, stacking two rack-mounted Cloud Gateways in Shadow Mode creates a "hot spare" setup, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity even if one gateway fails.
Comprehensive Analytics and Logging: The EFG is equipped with UniFi management software, providing detailed analytics and logging for all network traffic, including encrypted traffic with SSL Inspection. It supports comprehensive logging and export of client connections, security detections, configuration changes, admin sign-ins, and other critical network events.
Zero-Day Threat Protection: The EFG comes with an extensive database of threat signatures, anti-botnet support, harmful IP-filtering, and anti-malware protection, offering robust defense against the latest threats.
Secure Multi-Site Connectivity and SD-WAN: Simplify the establishment of site-to-site VPNs and sharing of subnets across multiple UniFi deployments without the hassle of configuring advanced settings or sharing private keys, enhancing connectivity and network management.
High Performance: The EFG supports over 5,000 simultaneous clients, manages 500+ UniFi APs and switches, and delivers 12.5 Gbps routing with IDS/IPS, ensuring unmatched performance for demanding network environments.
